  • After period of counseling work, contract was extended to include assistance roles throughout the school year for set construction, sound work for band shows, and manual labor

    • Obtained International Thespian Society membership in 2024

  • 7 theatre productions at Costa + 3 class productions

    • Won 1st place in Set Design in 2025 Fullerton Technical Theatre Festival competition out of 4 schools; Led a team of 31 students in the construction of the aforementioned set over an interval of five months.

    • Stage Manager for current fall production 

  • 5 different charitable benefits (2 holiday benefits, 2 AIDS benefits, and 1 Fire Relief benefit)

  • Lighting Designer and Board Operator in Senior Scenes 2 years in a row (mentee in my sophomore year → mentor in my Junior year, teaching a mentee how to operate a light board and build cues)

No Place for Hate Committee, Mira Costa High School Member

SEPTEMBER 2023 - PRESENT

  • Founding Member: led the creation and coordination of this committee

  • Monthly meetings; about 20 hours a year if activities are included (~40 so far)

  • Committee where I work with the vice principal and other students to plan activities and enact policies that eliminate hate and discrimination at Mira Costa.

  • Have organized pledge-signing activities, an anonymous report form for the school, art contests, and a survey to gain data re: the degree to which students felt safe at school along with the amount of hate they encountered (administered at the end of the 2024 school year).

  • Worked with administrators to spearhead a campaign for teachers to input new wording in syllabi against hateful behavior in the classroom; Assisted in the creation of informational homeroom videos on interrupting bias; Took on a large role in running two panelist-style school-wide assemblies on bias (speaking in one and organizing another)

  • Became a member by completing a  20-hr Individual Service Project, which had to be approved and signed off by an advisor and  school admin

  • Working with teachers to provide student input toward syllabus laws and teacher response to classroom conflicts, and to educate teaching staff about student experiences.

  • Collaborating with teachers and students on a board to shape policies and trainings for teachers (unlike NPFH, which focuses on students)

  • Working in tandem with No Place for Hate Committee for the production of student-led staff trainings on interrupting hate and bias (elaborated upon below)

  • Hosting and organizing two “Interrupting Bias” workshops in which students participated in a fishbowl discussion that teachers could observe and ask questions (one workshop on 5/20/2025 and one on 6/5/2025)

MARCH 2022 - PRESENT

  • Elected President in May 2023

  • Jewish Youth Group hosted by Congregation of Tikvat Jacob and based around discussions about present issues + service acts

  • Co-founder of Teen Advisory Counsel → leading the charge to change Noar into a program that makes more of an impact, expanding it to encompass teen activities hosted by the Congregation of Tikvat Jacob and utilizing the teen advisory counsel to create engaging and meaningful activities for Jewish youth

  • Worked with an advisor, Alison, to create the counsel mentioned above

  • Around 30 hours a year (have done it all three years of high school – monthly meetings)

  • Have hosted:

    • Purim carnival

    • Beach cleanups

    • Project Needs (food kitchen) partnership

    • Discussion panels and meetings about current events and identity in the context of them

  • Hosts one teen-based event every month

Restoring Rainbows, Manhattan Beach, CA Branch Founder

  • Nonprofit that collects, restores, and donates school supplies to various organizations (currently partnered with School on Wheels and Salvation Army)

  • Hosted a 3 month long drop-off drive at a nearby synagogue (May 1-Sep.1), an end-of-the-year collection event at Mira Costa High School (lasting the two final weeks of school), two informational meetings, and three fundraisers

  • Operates in the form of a school club, where my club members organize efforts to establish different donation box locations around the town and to make partnerships with different charities

Drama/Tech Board, Mira Costa High School — Tech Secretary

  • Oversees planning of events and documenting of Thespian points for Mira Costa Drama/Tech students, assuring hours are accurate to their point equivalents

Paper Flower Business Owner

  • Technically still operational – leftover supply being sold through pop-up events and festivals

  • Selling handmade flowers out of repurposed sheet music and book paper

  • 60 flowers commissioned by my school’s drama department for sale as concessions in 2024 musical

  • Sold ~70 at an art fair and through other means

  • Made a little less than $1,000 overall from product sales. (Most materials were repurposed waste, thus material costs were close to zero.)

Berkeley Business Academy for Youth, Online Student

SEPTEMBER 2024 - MAY 2025

  • ~80 hours altogether

  • Bi-weekly sessions spanning the academic year where I was placed in a team of five that created a business proposal and interviewed over 30 people as a team to develop our model into a realistic business

  • Created a business centered around industrial dehumidifiers for hydroponic farms that, if implemented, would recycle air humidity into hydroponic reservoirs, saving money for our customers and reducing water waste

  • Gained cold calling and interviewing skills (conducted 8 interviews to learn about the hydroponic industry and to gain feedback on my product)

  • Gained CAD skills from designing the product

  • Have been working on-and-off on a number of novels for about 2 years, 2 of which are close to entering the publishing stage

  • Around 120 hours altogether during school year, and ~30 during summers before and after sophomore year

  • Gained CAD skills–learned how to use OnShape and a number of machines (like a laser cutter, CNC, etc.)

  • Led a team in construction of many robot parts and oversaw creation of the robot’s bumpers for the 2024 season

  • Won 2nd in the World Championships in 2024 as a part of a coalition of three teams
