  • High level of seniority and leadership 

  • Training, general assistance, curriculum delivery, food distribution, attendance oversight, and a number of other roles

  • Started off at volunteer in 2022, hired as paid employee in late 2023

  • 7-8 hours a week–4 on Sundays for Sunday School and 3 on Wednesdays for b’nai mitzvah tutoring and general office work

Torrance Theater Company, Torrance CA —  Program Leader

JUNE 2024 - PRESENT

  • Summer camp counselor and activity coordinator

  • After period of counseling work, contract was extended to include assistance roles throughout the school year for set construction, sound work for band shows, and manual labor

  • Employee of the City of Torrance, which owns the company

  • Started off by volunteering for company and was hired through interview with about 20 other candidates (6 accepted to position)

Technical Theater, Mira Costa — Volunteer(?)

AUGUST 2021 - PRESENT

  • ~554 recorded thespian hours as of 6/9/2025

    • Obtained International Thespian Society membership in 2024

  • 6 theatre productions at Costa + 2 class productions

    • Won 1st place in Set Design in 2025 Fullerton Technical Theatre Festival competition out of 4 schools; led a team of 31 students in the construction of the aforementioned set over an interval of five months.

  • 5 different benefits (2 holiday benefits, 2 AIDS benefits, and 1 Fire Relief benefit event)

  • Lighting Designer and Board Operator in Senior Scenes 2 years in a row (mentee in my sophomore year → mentor in my Junior year, teaching a mentee how to operate a light board and build cues)

No Place for Hate Committee, Mira Costa High School Member

SEPTEMBER 2023 - PRESENT

  • Monthly meetings; about 20 hours a year if activities are included (~40 so far)

  • Committee where I work with the vice principal and other students to plan activities and enact policies that combat hate and discrimination at Mira Costa.

  • Have organized pledge-signing activities, an anonymous report form for the school, and a survey to gain data on how safe students felt at school and the amount of hate they encountered in it (administered at the end of the 2024 school year).

  • Worked with administrators to create and participate in a student fishbowl for a Anti-Bias teacher training on 5/22/2025

National Honors Society, Mira Costa High School branch Member

NOVEMBER 2024 - PRESENT

  • Became a member by doing a 20 hour Individual Service Project, which had to be approved and signed off by an advisor and  school admin

Equity, Diversity, Social Injustice, and Inclusion Committee, Mira Costa High School Senior Class Representative

DECEMBER 2024 - PRESENT

  • Working with teachers to give student input to syllabus laws, teacher response to classroom conflicts, and to educate the teaching staff across my school about student experiences.

  • Board that collaborates with teachers and students to shape policies and trainings for teachers (unlike NPFH, which focuses on students)

  • Worked in tandem with this Committee and No Place for Hate for the production of a number of staff training led by students in interrupting hate and bias (elaborated upon below)

  • Have hosted and helped to organize two “Interrupting Bias” workshops in which students participated in a fishbowl discussion that teachers could observe and ask questions (one workshop on 5/20/2025 and one on 6/5/2025)

Anchorless Productions, Bay Area Volunteer Set Designer

JANUARY 2025 - PRESENT

  • 2 productions: Spongebob: The Musical (Sound Board Operator) and Tangled (Set Designer)

  • ~50 hours so far

  • Nonprofit that puts on productions fully run by special needs actors and buddy actors that accompany them onstage

Noar, Manhattan Beach, CA President

MARCH 2022 - PRESENT

  • Elected President in May 2023

  • Jewish Youth Group hosted by Congregation of Tikvat Jacob and based around discussions about present issues + service acts

  • Co-founder of Teen Advisory Counsel → leading the charge to change Noar into a program that makes more of an impact, expanding it to encompass teen activities hosted by the Congregation of Tikvat Jacob and utilizing the teen advisory counsel to create engaging and meaningful activities for jewish youth

  • Worked with an advisor, Alison, to create the counsel mentioned above

  • Around 30 hours a year (have done it all three years of high school – monthly meetings)

  • Have hosted:

    • Purim carnival

    • Beach cleanups

    • Project Needs (food kitchen) partnership

    • Discussion panels and meetings about current events and identity in the context of them

  • Hosts one teen-based event every month

Restoring Rainbows, Manhattan Beach, CA Branch Founder

JULY 2024 - PRESENT

  • Nonprofit that collects, restores, and donates school supplies to a number of organizations (currently partnered with School on Wheels and Salvation Army)

  • Hosted a 3 month long drop-off drive at a nearby synagogue (May 1-Sep.1) and an end-of-the-year collection event at Mira Costa High School (lasting the two final weeks of school)

  • Operates in the form of a school club, where my club members organize efforts to establish different donation box locations around the town and to make partnerships with different charities

Thespian Board, Mira Costa High School — Tech Secretary

MAY 2025 - PRESENT

  • Oversees planning of events and documenting of Thespian points for Mira Costa Drama/Tech students, assuring hours are accurate to their point equivalents

  • Assists students in obtaining International Thespian Society Membership once they have reached the point threshold to do so

INTERNSHIPS/BUSINESS-BASED ACTIVITIES

Paper Flower Business Owner

DECEMBER 2024 - MAY 2024

  • Technically still operational – leftover supply being sold through pop-up events and festivals

  • Selling handmade flowers out of reused sheet music and book paper

  • 60 flowers commissioned by my school’s drama department for sale as concessions in 2024 musical and have also attended an art fair where I sold around 50, along with ~20 sold through other means

  • Made a little less than $1,000 overall from product sales. (Most materials were reused and thus material costs were close to zero.)

Berkeley Business Academy for Youth, Online Student

SEPTEMBER 2024 - MAY 2025

  • Around 80 hours altogether

  • Bi-weekly sessions spanning the academic year where I was placed in a team of five that created a business proposal and interviewed over 30 people as a team to develop our model into a realistic business.

  • Created a business centered around industrial dehumidifiers for hydroponic farms that, if implemented, would recycle air humidity into hydroponic reservoirs, saving money for our customers and reducing the wastage of water resources.

  • Gained skills in cold calling and interviewing (conducted 8 interviews in total to learn about the hydroponic market and industry + gain input on my product)

  • CAD skills gained from designing the product

  • Self-published a poetry book (The Strings of Life and Love) through Amazon in 2024 

  • Poems published in PoetSpeak Magazine issue #56 in 2024 

  • 3 poems  – Purity, Siren and Four published in Papercut (a literature magazine run by Mira Costa students) in June 2025

  • 2 poems – Shadows and Friend, featured in an educational pamphlet by Spree Powers in 2024 about abstract art forms.

  • Have been working on a novel on-and-off for about 2 years

  • Writing has been my main hobby for years, and I plan to publish more books in the future

Beach Cities FIRST Robotics Team, Redondo Beach Mechanical Team Member

SEPTEMBER 2023 - JULY 2025

  • Around 120 hours altogether during school year, and ~30 during summers before and after sophomore year

  • CAD skills–learned how to use OnShape and a number of machines (like a laser cutter, CNC, etc.)

  • Led a team in construction of many robot parts and oversaw creation of the robot’s bumpers for the 2024 season

  • My team won 2nd in the World Championships in 2024 as a part of a coalition of three teams
